Man City stance on transfer pursuit of Bukayo Saka amid uncertain Arsenal future

Manchester City have distanced themselves from reports that they are considering a move for Arsenal star Bukayo Saka. Saka, 20, has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League at the Emirates after another productive season.

He is also already a fixture in the England squad under Gareth Southgate and can expect to go to the World Cup at the end of the year.

Arsenal are in the process of trying to secure Saka's club future. The rising star is entering the final two years of his contract in North London, and a failure to agree terms this summer would leave the Gunners vulnerable to having to accept a knock-down price next summer rather than risk losing the player on a free in 2024.
