Southampton have reportedly shortlisted Manchester City striker Liam Delap this summer. The Saints have already poached one City youngster this summer with Gavin Bazunu, who spent last season on loan at Portsmouth, moving to St Mary's on a permanent deal last week.
Ralph Hasenhuttl is believed to not be finished with signing Blues players though and is now targetting 19-year-old Delap. Delap was in good goalscoring form for Brian Barry-Murphy's academy side last season in the Premier League 2.
He found the back of the net eight times in 10 matches while he also featured sparingly in the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup for Pep Guardiola's men, although injuries meant he was on the sidelines for a good chunk of the season. They add that the teenager could be looking for a move away due to him not expecting much game time next season with their arrivals of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez to the Etihad.
