Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Manchester City Women's star Lucy Bronze has called out the 'outrageous' FA Cup pay disparity. During the 2021-22 season the winners of the Women's FA Cup will receive £25,000 with the losers gaining £15,000.

In comparison, teams who are victorious in the Men's FA Cup second round received £34,000 and the eventual winner of the domestic trophy will take home £1.8m.

Commenting in her Give Me Sport column, the England international said: "If we did win the FA Cup, we would understand why we wouldn’t be given £1.8 million in prize money. "Men's football has a bigger audience and more sponsors right now.

We know we have to grow the game a lot more to get to that point. "However, the fact that we would currently receive less than two percent of the men’s winnings is outrageous. "I’m glad this is now being addressed.
