Man appears in court as cops continue to hunt Edinburgh hot-tub theft gang

court charged with the alleged theft of hot tubs from a business near Edinburgh. Alexander Nelson was arrested and charged over the weekend in relation to the alleged robbery last Friday night.

The Crown Office confirmed the 31-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.The hi-tech equipment disappeared from the Advanced Hot Tubs and Swim Spas yard in Macmerry, near Tranent.

Company boss Kevin Higginson issued a fresh plea to track down the hot-tubs that were all destined for customers in time for Christmas.He told us: “I would urge anyone out there to keep an eye out for these hot-tubs.

They are very distinctive and we are keen to make them impossible to sell on.“They were already sold to customers and were ready for shipping.
