LOVE Island bosses have been forced to remind potential Islanders that they have no interest in fame-seekers after there was a suggestion some wannabes had tactically split from their partners just to cash in on the show.
The Sun has learnt from sources linked to some of the budding cast that they had tried to keep relationships secret from ITV until they knew they’d be heading into the villa.
Another source said a person in talks with bosses had promised their partner they would “get back together” afterwards, but couldn’t pass up the chance to become famous.
A source close to the show said: “Love Island bosses has no interest in fame seekers. They’re savvy to Islanders who think the show is a quick fix to fame and fortune. “As has always been the case, Love Island bosses cast single Islanders who are looking for love.
