Love Island's Liam Llewellyn admits he's 'only ever had two dates'

New Love Island recruit Liam Llewellyn has admitted he’s only ever been on two dates in his life. The 22 year old was announced as one of the first contestants of series 8 on Monday 30 May alongside Paige Thorpe, Dami Hope, Indiyah Polack and football legend Michael Owen's daughter, Gemma.The masters student, hailing from Newport in South Wales, has opened up about the fact he "doesn’t really date".

Speaking ahead of his villa entrance next week, he admitted: “I’ve only had one or two dates! I don’t really date, I just go out and meet girls. “I’m not messaging girls like, ‘I want to take you out, I want to do this, I want to do that.’ I meet girls naturally.

If I want to see them again, I just go and see them.” Despite his lack of dating experience and only being 22, Liam is entering the famous Love Island villa just six months after the end of a three year relationship. “I had a long term relationship for three years which came to an end in November, since then I’ve been enjoying myself, having a little dabble here and there!” he said.
