Love Island bosses are said to be “working to the wire” as they race to finish building the luxury villa contestants will be staying in ahead of the show’s launch in three days time.
Whole sections of the Mallorcan venue still remain in disarray ahead of the start of the new series, which returns to our screens on Monday June 6th.The villa’s walls, floors and furniture still remain unfinished, with work on the show’s sexy retreat The Hideaway, having only just begun.
Builders have been racing to try and get the work completed in time for the first contestants arriving on Saturday, reports the Sun, but executive producer Mike Spencer remains confident it will all come together.
