His sophomore album is stacked with 18 tracks—and it turns out that “Prices” samples Travis Scott’s Kid Cudi and Swizz Beatz-assisted “way back.” Produced by Cashmere Cat and Harold Harper, “Prices” speeds up the instrumental from the second half of Scott’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight cut.
Throughout the braggadocious track, the Philly rapper flaunts his bedroom prowess: He also interpolates the nursery rhyme “Hickory Dickory Dock” while dropping in a Silence of the Lambs reference: The Philly MC previously teased the track in the short film for “Baby Pluto” on March 3: This week, Uzi tweeted his gratitude to Scott for clearing the sample:
