drug dealer has admitted carrying out a sword attack on a Scots cop at the home he dealt the deadly drugs from. Heroin dealer Christopher Gillen assaulted Police Constable Ewan Bell with the deadly weapon in Ayr.
And after being allowed bail over the attack, he went on to cause another rammy in the town while armed with a knife. Ayr Sheriff Court heard yesterday that Gillen struck the officer on the body with the sword on January 8 last year.
The attack took place at Gillen's home in Church Court.He also admitted a charge of dealing heroin from the same property on November 9, 2019, and January 8, 2020.When he dealt the drugs on the earlier date, he was on bail over two other Ayr Sheriff Court cases, which have since been disposed of.
