Succession had a big night at the 2022 SAG Awards, taking home the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series prize at the annual awards show. The play, on which the action of the season hinged, was designed to elicit an angry reaction from Cassie, and it achieved its goal; Cassie’s freaking out at playwright Lexi (Maude Apatow) was an inherent plot point, though Lexi couldn’t have predicted the specifics.

SAG Awards in both the film and television categories as both “Squid Game” and “CODA” took home two major prizes.
