evoke.ieWe’re used to seeing Kamala Harris making strides in office but rarely if ever do we get a glimpse into her personal life. Ahead of inauguration day, however, the US Vice President-elect shared the sweetest tidbit from her relationship with her other half Douglas Emhoff.
In a sit-down with CBS Sunday Morning, the couple discussed their first meeting on a blind date and she basically did what every single girl would have done in her shoes — she googled him.
It transpired that the couple was set up by Kamala’s best friend who cautioned her, ‘Just trust me, Just trust me…’ and told her not to google him. ‘She wanted me to just kind of go into it, and she said: “Don’t Google him.” I did,’ she confessed when prompted by host Jane Pauley.
