Today the Manchester Evening News joins together with the Greater Manchester Mayor’s charity to launch a huge coronavirus fundraising campaign in support of the region’s most vulnerable.

The current outbreak has left many people here struggling for access to food, basics and emotional support, many of them self-isolating, often in fragile health and alone.

Public services have been working hard to find and help them, but we know they are over-stretched and working around the clock.
