He struggled to maintain that level of impact throughout the campaign, but Goodwin believes the 26-year-old will come back even stronger after getting an almost full season of Scottish football under his belt.
He told Express Sport: “It took Ilkay a little time to settle in when he came over from Austria.“When he got up to speed though he was a terrific player for us.
