Jim Goodwin insists the Paisley club will not give up the fight for a better result from their SPFL battering. The Buddies were dished out two 3-0 forfeits and a suspended £40,000 fine last week by the league body for breaching Covid-19 protocols.Those included players car sharing on their way to training, unsuitable facilities at Ralston to enable players to observe physical distancing at training, and failing to maintain social distancing on the coach and at a pre-match meal before an away game.
And while St Mirren manager Goodwin admits the club made mistakes, he is adamant there should be a fairer outcome given the punishments handed out to other clubs whose players broke the rules earlier in the season.
