justjared.comThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot, which will be set in modern day Bel-Air, has found it’s new Will! Will Smith surprised the casting choice, newcomer Jabari Banks, during a Zoom call to reveal the news.
The show will debut on Peacock and here’s a synopsis: “Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air.
With a reimagined vision, Bel-Air will dive deeper into the inherent conflicts, emotions and biases that were impossible to fully explore in a 30-minute sitcom format, while still delivering swagger and nods to the original show.” Jabari is actually from West Philadelphia and graduated from University of the Arts in Philly in 2020!
