ITV has pulled I'm A Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here! and The Voice Kids from Russian TV amid the Ukraine invasion. The ongoing assault on Ukraine by Russia has caused a number of subsequent debates across sports and TV.

It was confirmed today that athletes from Russia and Belarus have been banned from the Winter Olympics in Beijing, while earlier this week, Russian football clubs and national teams have been suspended from all FIFA and UEFA competitions.

Now ITV has revealed it has stopped any new sales of programming to Russia. A spokesperson for ITV Studios said: "Whilst Russia is not a significant partner for ITV Studios, we have previously sold content to Russian clients which has included drama, formats and non-scripted content. "In light of the Russian invasion into Ukraine we have stopped new sales to Russian clients. "We have also written directly to TNT and Channel One to ask them to stop airing I'm A Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here and The Voice Kids (both of which are currently on air) and have already withdrawn our consultants from these productions." The statement comes as Russia managed to take its first major city in Ukraine after days of fierce battles. .css-qu9fel{border-top:1px solid #dcdddd;}.css-b9nmbi{margin-bottom:16px;border-top:1px solid.
