Portugal and Hungary were both part of Euro 2020's 'group of death', with the sides meeting in the opening match day and the reigning European champions earning a 3-0 victory on the day thanks to late goals from Raphael Guerreiro — and a double from ex Manchester United star Ronaldo.
Hungary were able to secure draws in their following two games against France and Germany but that wasn't enough to see them progress through to the last 16, as they finished bottom of the group.
