The outage is affecting 248 properties in Hyde. The power cut was first reported just before 7.50am this morning, according to the Electricity North West website.
Engineers are on their way to fix the problem. Power is expected to be restored by around 10.50am. In a tweet posted just before 8am, Electricity North West said: "We are aware of a #powercut in #hyde affecting 248 properties, we are awaiting our engineers to arrive at the substation. "Once they have arrived we will keep everyone posted." The postcodes affected by the power cut are listed below: SK13 6JB, SK14
