Holly Willoughby posts cryptic message ahead of This Morning return
ok.co.ukAhead of her return to This Morning, Holly Willoughby has penned a cryptic message on social media. The TV presenter has been absent from the show since her former co-worker Phillip Schofield, 61, stepped down after 21 years with immediate effect.
Since then, Phillip, 61, has resigned from ITV all together and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to an “unwise, but not illegal” affair with a young male colleague on This Morning.
After the news was revealed, Holly took to Instagram to share a statement on 27 May which read: "It has taken time to process yesterday's news. "When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not.
It's been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie." Escaping the commotion around the Phillip scandal, Holly, 42, jetted off with her family for a holiday in Portugal.
