Four Durie’s ABC fighters have been praised after taking part in a joint show with two other clubs at Hearts’ Tynecastle Park recently.While the Rutherglen club only took one win from four fights, head coach Archie Durie was left fizzing at what he felt was an early stoppage.Durie’s went in with Leith Victoria and McTaggart and Scott ABC’s to showcase their young boxers on December 5.Cambuslang lad William Lafferty, 14, was first up against Leith Victoria’s Luke Dunbar in the 55kg category.After a slow start for Lafferty, he was caught with a punch late in the first round, with a standing eight count.After taking the fight to his opponent in the second, Lafferty was caught with a shot 20 seconds in that put his head back.
