SPFL.A petition has been lodged with the Court of Session as the clubs railed against the "unfair and unjust" decision to relegate them.The vote to end the 2019/20 campaign condemned Hearts to the Championship while Thistle face mounting uncertainty having been sent down to League One with no date in place for the bottom two divisions to commence.The petition does not seek to interfere with other vote outcomes, such as prize money payments nor the decision to crown Celtic, Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers as respective league championsAnd this first step does not yet put an interdict on the 2020/21 campaign, a move that could plunge Scottish football into further chaos.
