Prime Minister Boris Johnson made it through a vote of no confidence on Monday night (June 6), but with the PM still under pressure we want to know what your reaction to the result is.
Despite gaining backing from a majority of Conservative MPs, 211 for to 148 against, the result spells out a significant opposition to his leadership within the party.
The PM received 59% of the vote, lower than the 63% that Theresa May managed in 2018. The former Prime Minister would eventually step down six months later. However, not all of our readers shared the PM's optimism, with one saying: "He is going to have a rough ride with 148 tory rebels voting against him, he should consider his position as PM." Another person added: "He may go in the following weeks or months." There were some readers who had a bit more hope for the PM though, with one commenting: "He will survive because there is no obvious replacement."
