All GP practices across Lanarkshire will be open on both Good Friday and Easter Monday, April 10 and 13, to help ease the pressure on other areas of the healthcare system.Doctors’ surgeries in Airdrie and Coatbridge will be available to patients on the two Easter holiday dates – but residents are being reminded only to attend if really necessary, and that people should not to go to a practice, community pharmacy or hospital if they have symptoms of coronavirus Covid-19.Anyone who has developed the symptoms of a new continuous cough and/or a fever or high temperature in the past week is asked to stay at home for seven days from the start of their symptoms, even if these seem mild.People should call 111 if symptoms worsen during home
