Glastonbury Festival will not take place in 2021, organisers Michael & Emily Eavis have announced. The iconic festival was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, and its on-going effects mean the 2021 instalment will also not be taking place. "With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will not take place, and that this will be another enforced fallow year for us," reads Michael and Emily's statement. "In spite of our efforts to move Heaven & Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the Festival happen this year.
