dailyrecord.co.ukcontraceptive pill after she had to have fluid drained from around her brain.Megan Gilchrist, from Glasgow, was shocked when her optician found swelling at the back of her eyes during a routine examination on September 4 and urgently referred her to the hospital.After further tests and an MRI scan, 18-year-old Megan was told she also had swelling and tension around her brain.Rigevidon lists blood clots in the eye and inflammation of the optic nerve as potential side effects.It can also make migraines worse and should only be used under strict supervision by people who suffer migraines.Megan says despite having a history of headaches the potential side effects of Rigevidon were not discussed with her.And she claims medics who dealt with her.
