Tim Considine has died at the age of 81. Considine died Thursday at his home in Mar Vista, California, according to Disney.  Considine made his acting debut in 1953 at the age of 12 in "The Clown" and also appeared in the "Mickey Mouse Club" show "The Adventures of Spin and Marty." Tim Considine has passed away at the age of 81. The actor was born into an entertainment industry family.

Game of Thrones actor John Stahl has died, aged 68.The Scottish actor played the role of Richard Karstark in two seasons of the show and was also well known for playing Inverdarroch in long-running soap opera Take The High Road. He died on the Isle of Lewis on March 2; a cause of death is yet to be disclosed.Stahl’s death was confirmed by his agent who described him as “an actor of remarkable skill and a stalwart of Scottish theatre”.The full statement read: “We are very sad to announce the death of John Stahl. John was an actor of remarkable skill and a stalwart of Scottish theatre, where he appeared in numerous productions as well as at The Royal Shakespeare Company and The National Theatre.“He was well known for playing Inveradarroch in Take the High Road from 1982 – 2003 and for the role of Rickard Karstark in two series of Game of Thrones. He died on the Isle of Lewis on March 2 2022 and is survived by his wife, Jane Paton.”An additional statement on Twitter read: “We’re deeply saddened to report the death of our beloved friend and client, John Stahl. He was an actor of the most remarkable skill, with a decades-long career gracing our screens and stages. Game of Thrones super fans may know that wasn't the first to play Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons. However, nobody has heard from the OG actor, Tamzin Merchant, on the subject until now. Merchant (The Tudors, Carnival Row) was just 21 years old when she was cast in the original pilot for back in 2009.

Most big Game of Thrones fans know the story of the show that almost was. D.B. Weiss and David Benioff‘s original pilot was by all accounts an unwatchable mess that had no chance of becoming an international megahit. But HBO gave the creators another chance, and they were able to save the show — by reshooting about 90% of it and recasting several major roles. The biggest part that had to be redone? Daenerys Targaryen.

The mother of dragons was almost a different person entirely. “Game of Thrones” notoriously threw out its first pilot that was rumored to be “a disaster.” The hit show then recast many of its key roles for a new version of the Season 1 premiere, “Winter Is Coming,” that aired on HBO in 2011. Among those recast roles was the franchise’s most recognizable character, the silver-haired Daenerys Targaryen. As the show became a global phenomenon, Daenerys became the role of a lifetime for Emilia Clarke — but it almost wasn’t.
