Justice League story as a comic book with DC.The director’s long-awaited ‘Snyder Cut’ of the 2017 film is due out as a four-part miniseries on the HBO Max streaming service next year.Snyder’s original cut of the DC Comics movie was set to arrive in 2018 before personal tragedy forced him to step aside – with Joss Whedon overseeing the final months of the film’s production.Speaking to Bleeding Cool in a new interview, Snyder revealed that he’s been talking to DC publisher Jim Lee about finishing the story in comic book form.“I would love to do a comic book, the post-apocalyptic Knightmare world, the world has fallen, the ragtag team that’s left alive trying to put it back,” the director said.

Though the battle between Ray Fisher and Joss Whedon over alleged “abuse” suffered during the “Justice League” reshoots has been going on for months already, there really hasn’t been a ton of information revealed about what that all entails. However, in a new, two-hour interview with Poindexter Lounge, Fisher goes into as much detail as he can and actually thinks that the issues with Whedon, in regards to “Justice League,” might stem from his time working in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Last week, Warner Bros. announced it had concluded its investigation into “Justice League” star Ray Fisher’s complaints of abusive behaviour from director Joss Whedon (who stepped in to complete the film after original director Zack Snyder was forced to quit due to a family tragedy), and producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.

For months now, Ray Fisher has seemingly launched a one-man war against the likes of Joss Whedon, Geoff Johns, and Jon Berg for how the trio treated him (and reportedly others) during the reshoots on 2017’s “Justice League.” While over that time, we’ve heard more specifics about what happened, it’s been largely Fisher on the front lines trying to spread his “Accountability > Entertainment” message about the “abuse” suffered during the reshoots.

Zack Snyder is teasing even more changes to his director’s cut of “Justice League,” including a foul-mouthed Batman and a potential theatrical release.  The film originally came out in 2018, but what hit theaters wasn’t exactly Snyder’s ideal version of the film. He stepped away from the project while it was in post-production to deal with the death of his daughter.

While many are excited to finally watch Zack Snyder‘s original vision for “Justice League” with his version heading to HBO Max next year, younger viewers might be restricted from seeing his more mature edition. Or, at least restricted from seeing what seeing a big-screen version.
