LOVE Island fans said they will complain to TV watchdog Ofcom after a gruesome task where stars spat food into one another's mouths went ahead last night.

One viewer raged: "That food challenge was disgusting. Please don’t ever do that again. Spitting? Plus we literally still have COVID." Both the boys and girls looked horrified when they were forced to serve a roast dinner and all the trimmings by passing food from tupperware to plates using their mouths.

The aim of the game was to do it in record time - with the girls regurgitating the food passed from the boys back back onto a plate.
