Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

Earlier in the week, the husband ofJoseph Maldonado-Passage, aka Joe Exotic, the subject of the Netflix docuseriesTiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, was quoted saying there were talks that an unnamed station wanted Maldonado-Passage to host a show from prison. "So we'll see what happens with that,"Dillon Passage told the U.K.'s Metro tabloid paper. "It's kind of mind-blowing." However, a spokesman for theFederal Bureau of Prisons tellsThe Hollywood Reporterthat authorities knew nothing of those plans, so there were no logistics to discuss.
