An 'extremely fit' dad-of-two died of heart failure after a freak allergic reaction. Alistair Hendon, 56, suffered an acute anaphylactic reaction at his home on August 18 last year - despite having no known allergies.

An inquest was held into the popular part-time school caretaker's death on Wednesday, January 5, Somerset Live reports. Avon coroner Dr Peter Harrowing read a statement from Mr Henden's wife, Caroline, who said that he was a "very active" before his sudden passing.
