Former Bolton Wanderers striker Chris O'Grady has joined a new club - two years on from his exit from the club. O'Grady joined Wanderers in September 2019 and went on to play 23 times for the club under Keith Hill, scoring four goals.
The striker was released by Wanderers in the summer of 2020. The 36-year-old has had a nomadic career since coming through the youth team ranks initially at Nottingham Forest and later at Leicester City.
He has represented 16 teams in his senior career, which include the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley. The veteran striker has now signed for a new club. He has joined Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Ilkeston Town who have recently won the title in that division.
