Researchers say their tests have found that the simple jab could provide double protection against Covid-19.The vaccine being developed at the University of Oxford was said on Monday to be safe and induces an immune reaction following trials on around 1,000 participants.The strong immune responses were found in both parts of the immune system – provoking a T cell response within 14 days of vaccination, and an antibody response within 28 days.They also found that it causes few side effects.However they found that the minor side effects, compared with the control group of those given a meningitis vaccine, appeared more frequently but some of these.
