ok.co.ukNewly engaged Kris Mochrie revealed how his partner and former Emmerdale star Max Parker, was forced to stop his proposal.The actor, 37, explained how during the big moment on a South African beach, a man paused the engagement to ask if they had any money.
Kris was telling the story to Phil Trow on BBC Radio Manchester on Thursday, as a guest with former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn.
The husband-to-be chuckled: "It was really funny because the video he put up online, he had to cut out. A guy came and started begging when we were halfway through the proposal!" He continued: "I said “I’ve only got English money”, so I gave him £10 which I think was like 200 rand in South African money."
