Throughout the pandemic, they have targeted various vulnerable demographics, like pensioners, and their latest focus is on families who have been marginalised in some manner by Covid-19.Heather McCormack, director at Boghall Drop-In, explained to the Courier that they are now looking to help families who have been affected by furlough or any other exceptional circumstances created by the contagion.But she stressed, as always they will consider all requests for help.She explained: “We are appealing to families and people who may be struggling financially to get in touch as at the moment we have access to fresh meats, bread and milk and are also supplying weekly packs of packed lunched items for parents who may be struggling with their kids.
