Drink-driver who killed dad and two kids out on Father’s Day walk jailed

David Logan, 47, ploughed his vehicle into Joshua Flynn, 37, his son Coby-Jay, 15, and daughter Skylar, 12, in Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, on June 21 last year.

All three, along with their beloved pet Yorkshire Terrier Troy,died at the scene on Abbey Road, Preston Crown Court heard. The court heard how Logan, of Dalton, was slurring his speech and staggering on his feet after being pulled from the wreckage of the Peugeot 206, which had ended up embedded in a tree.
