Sign up for the latest from M.E.N. political editor Jennifer Williams Dominic Cummings has told MPs he made a deal with Boris Johnson before accepting the role as chief adviser a week before he became Prime Minister.
Mr Cummings told the Commons Science and Technology Committee he insisted on a doubling of the science budget before taking on the role as chief adviser.
