Dolly Parton Shares The Reason Why She Was Hesitant In Accepting Her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nomination

It’s official – Dolly Parton is part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with these other six artists.

After the Class of 2022 was announced, the 76-year-old country singer spoke with Billboard about why she was initially hesitant about accepting the nomination. Click inside to read more… When the nominations first came out, Dolly stated that she was “extremely flattered” to be up for the honor, but she didn’t feel she had “earned that right.” Now, she tells Billboard that she “never meant to cause trouble or stir up any controversy.
