manchestereveningnews.co.ukDetectives have issued a fresh CCTV appeal after a 'serious' sexual assault in Oldham. Police were called to Cornwall Street in Chadderton on Wednesday 8 September at 2.50pm to reports that a 21-year-old woman had been followed and assaulted.
Following the 'targeted' attack, GMP released an image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident. READ MORE:Two teenagers arrested after man stabbed to death in street They have since issued a new CCTV picture in a fresh appeal for witnesses.
The new photo shows a male walking in the Chadderton area prior to the offence. The victim wasn't seriously injured during the assault, but has been left shaken up by the ordeal.
