Click inside to read more… While talking with Entertainment Tonight about the Netflix series, David spilled a possible storyline: “Here’s the storyline: so it starts with the death of…” He then stopped, and pulled out his jokes about not knowing a lot about the fifth season. “Ah, no.
You know, I mean, I know a little bit about where it’s headed and it’s really exciting, but you’ll see it in another 15 years when it’s able to be released when we’ve shot it.” Just a few months ago, creators Ross and Matt Duffer did share details about the pacing and length of episodes for the final season. “It’s almost a two-hour ramp up before our kids really get drawn into a supernatural mystery,” they said. “You get to know them, you get to see them in their lives, they’re struggling with adapting to high school and so forth, Steve’s trying to find a date, all of that.
None of that is obviously going to be occurring [in season 5]… We’re more likely to do what we did here, which is to just have a 2.5 hour episode.” If you missed it, David had some other exciting news to share at D23.
