Celtic legend John Hartson has told Daizen Maeda he has to find his feet quickly for the Premiership run-in. The Japanese striker led the line during the goalless draw against Hibs as the league leaders struggled to carve out clear-cut chances in the capital.
The 24-year-old is expected to lead the line once again against St Mirren with Kyogo Furuhashi, Giorgios Giakoumakis and Albian Ajeti all on the sidelines.
Parkhead hero Hartson insists Maeda has got to step up quickly as the Premiership title fight with Rangers looks set to go to the wire.
The Welshman told The Go Radio Football Show: "I thought they had nothing through the middle on Sunday. Maeda had a poor game to his standards. "They kept the ball well and made Hibs work.
