Dad who died in horror crash named as devastated friends pay tribute - and scene of tragedy filled with flowers

The 34-year-old was driving a black Fiat 500 at the junction of Long Causeway and Albert Road in Farnworth just before 11pm on Tuesday (May 25).

The vehicle collided with a silver Vauxhall Insignia, police said. Mr Crompton was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Bolton Coroners' Court confirmed a file relating to Mr Crompton's death has been received.
