A Clarebrand mother has taken a can-do attitude to tackling the issue of littering in the local community.Kathryn Roxburgh was shocked at the amount of empty drinks cans motorists had thrown out of their car windows while using quiet country lanes.So she used the cans to make special signs urging people to take their litter home instead.Kathryn, who lives just outside Clarebrand, said: “It took me no time at all to collect them and that was all within half a mile.“The lanes around here are lovely and it’s terrible that this is happening.
