Chris Rock has spoken out for the first time since Will Smith slapped him across the face at the 2022 Oscars.The 53 year old I Am Legend actor was left offended when the comedian made a quip about his 50 year old wife Jada's shaved head.
He reacted by walking on stage and slapping Chris before returning to his seat to warn the 57 year old: "Keep my wife's name out of your f****** mouth." Chris has since broken his silence as he appeared teary in Boston for his comedy performance on Wednesday 30 March.

Chris then explained that he didn't write any material around the slap he suffered on the stage at the Oscars. "I don't have a bunch of s**t about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I had like a whole show I wrote before this weekend," he shared.
