Caroline Flack’s mother has spoken out to slam a chief Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor after he said it was “right” to charge the late star this weekend.
Caroline was just 40 years old when she was found dead in her London home in February, months after she was arrested and charged with assault by beating following an incident with her boyfriend.The late Love Island presenter’s management then criticised the CPS for conducting a “show trial” against Caroline.
And now Ed Beltrami, who was head of the CPS in north London when Caroline was charged, told the Wales on Sunday newspaper the case could not be dropped because her boyfriend Lewis, 28, didn’t support it.
