Care home staff in Salford have been getting creative in their efforts to entertain residents with doorstep dances, discos and balcony bingo sessions The work of dedicated care workers in Salford has been recognised by tenants and relatives alike.

With many of the people living in the schemes classed as vulnerable by the NHS and unable to leave their homes due to lockdown restrictions, staff have been going above and beyond to keep tenants healthy, happy and engaged while staying safe.

99-year-old Isobel Blackhurst, who lives at one of the extra care facilities in Walkden, was grateful for the staff’s hard work, she said: “The staff are all doing a fantastic job keeping us safe and entertained.
