Emergency services are at the scene of the smash in Boothstown, Salford. The westbound carriageway close to the junction with Chaddock Lane was closed following the incident.
Pictures from the scene show a Vauxhall Vectra split in two on a grass verge. No one is believed to have been seriously injured.
