Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Camilla has been photographed meeting The Crown actress Emerald Fennell, who portrayed the Duchess of Cornwall on the Netflix series.
Prince Charles' wife, 74, smiled as she posed alongside actress Emerald, 36, during the encounter, which took place as Camilla hosted a reception she was for International Women’s Day today, Tuesday 8 March at Clarence House.The two women were seen chatting together at the reception and Camilla even shared a joke about her "fictional alter ego" in her speech, saying Emerald could finish the speech if she were to "fall off her perch".The Duchess of Cornwall was also seen mingling with a number of famous faces at the reception including Mel B, former Prime Minister Theresa May, and author and journalist, Elizabeth Day.
Camilla, who has long been patron of a handful of women’s charities, including the Women of the World Foundation (WOW), was also seen chatting with WOW's founder Jude Kelly.
