Troon Lifeboat crew were called out for the third time in as many days.They were summoned to reports of a possible person in the water at Ardrossan Harbour around 2.38pm yesterday afternoon.The crew responded and launched RNLI Trent class all-weather lifeboat ‘RNLB Jim Moffat’ to assist Ardrossan and Largs Coastguard rescue teams who had also been tasked.Thankfully, on arrival, it was established that the callout was a false alarm.As it turned out, it was not a person in the water.
