Bridgerton creator Chris Van Dusen teases possibility of a second series

It’s the salacious period drama that has kept us all entertained over the festive period. Bridgerton which stars our own Nicola Coughlan as gossip queen Penelope Featherington and has been dubbed ‘historical Gossip Girl’ is undoubtedly one of the smash-hit Netflix shows of the year.

If like the rest of us, you binged watched the entire series while wolfing down the contents of a tin of Quality Street over the past week or so then you will also be dying to know if there is a second serious in the works.

Well, on that front we have some news. The show’s creator Chris Van Dusen has stated that he would ‘love to be able to explore love stories and romances for all the Bridgerton brothers and sisters’ which sounds extremely hopeful.
