A deal has been agreed to sell Wigan Athletic Football Club.Administrators Paul Stanley, Gerald Krasner and Dean Watson say they have now come to an agreement with a Spanish bidder.The identity of the bidder will remain anonymous until the deal is completed but the joint administrators say the person in question has 'experience in football'.Including in the agreement is a clause concerning the payment of the club's creditors, which will mean the team do not face a 15-point penalty.“We are pleased to announce that we have reached agreement with a preferred bidder from Spain," Mr Stanley said."The offer that has been accepted deals with not only the sale of the club but also allows the payment to non-football creditors to avoid the 15-point.
